Juliet uses a network of local curtain makers, upholsterers, furniture makers and specialist decorators. She is particular about attention to detail and has a good knowledge of fabrics and manufacturing. She spent 15 years as a dress designer in London before starting her interior design consultancy in 1996. Juliet's clients often relocate from London or abroad. Her service typically includes 'mood boards', CAD's and finished illustrations. "My job starts when the builders work comes to an end", says Juliet. "I liaise with the contractors and clients on site, so that we can discuss the design and cover practical issues, such as lighting specifications." Juliet also furnishes show homes, restaurants, bars, offices, small hotels, and care homes. "A recent commercial project that I am particularly proud of is the Chic Cafe at Chichester Festival Theatre. It's exciting to be involved with the theatre at a time when it's doing so well."
